This memoir covers the last decade of my life between the ages of 60-70 when an ordinary social work professor “accidentally” became a fashion icon. You’ll read about my travels and adventures as Accidental Icon. You’ll also get the behind the scenes story of what I was thinking and feeling outside of the public view. It’s a tale of losing oneself and finding oneself again, living through a pandemic but most of all it’s a story about reinvention and the idea that it is never too late to realize a deferred dream.
